Community Outreach

One of our main missions is to provide educational opportunities to Racine County residents. Tours and visits may be requested by calling our Shelter, and are possible based on the current schedule and volunteer availability. Programs may include animal visitors, animal safety, responsible pet ownership, pet overpopulation, safety around animals, bite prevention, animal abuse and animal ethical issues. We are also able to tailor our visits to your curriculum.

We also will do pet visits to schools, nursing homes, medical facilities and correctional institutions as a part of our Education and Community Outreach Program. Interested persons should contact Jenny at our shelter or by email jenny@countrysidehumanesociety.org.
