Annual Dog Wash! ---Annual Dog Wash!

Countryside Humane Society will be holding its yearly dog wash on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 at Havahart Pets, 6500 Washington Avenue, in Racine. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their friendly leashed dogs, all breeds are welcome! CHS Volunteers will wash dogs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and groomers from Shaggy's Grooming will also be available to clip dog's nails and clean ears. Representatives from various pet-related products will be attending to answer questions regarding pet nutrition. All the money raised from the annual dog wash will be used for Countryside's Medical Emergency Fund. This fund helps pay veterinarian expenses for sick and injured animals at the shelter. Countryside Humane Society is located at 2706 Chicory Road. Racine. Please keep an eye open for the August dog wash, scheduled to be on Saturday August 20th 2011 located at Countryside Humane Society! (Dog Parade, Carnival, Bake sale and more!)

Adopt-a-thon! April 29th & 30th ---Adopt-a-thon! April 29th & 30th

We are excited to announce the dates for the next shelter Adopt-a-thon being held at Countryside Humane Society! The event begins in April on Friday the 29th through Saturday the 30th! During an Adopt-a-thon and potential adopters are encouraged to have all necessary credentials for adopting so they may take home animals that same day! All animals will be ready to leave with full vaccinations and microchipping as well as their surgery for spay or neuter completed. Kittens and Cats! ---Kittens and Cats!

Currently CHS is having an adoption special! In efforts to get some of our furry feline friends homes we're running an Adopt a Cat or Kitten, take home a buddy free! We would like to invite you to visit our shelter and take out some of the cats or kittens! What better gift to give this holiday season, than a home to an animal in need!
