Countryside Humane Society Needs Your Help

You can make a difference...Countryside Humane Society needs volunteer drivers willing to transport contained wildlife from our shelter to Wildlife Rehabilitation Centers located in Lake Geneva or Mukwonago. Orphaned wildlife babies such as rabbits, possums, and ducks, occasionally need transportation to a licensed wildlife center for immediate care.

Volunteers must be available during the day, be able to respond promptly when called, and be willing to transport these animals in their own vehicle.

Brownie Troop 5852 from Jefferson Lighthouse School really know there stuff when it comes to taking care of an animal. The girls had an educational program on what it takes to take care of a pet at their Brownie meeting. The girls then put their thinking caps on and created an educational banner that displays what is needed to care for a pet, so that other people would be able to learn what they had.
