Animal Shelter Manager (part time 30 hrs.)

Countryside Humane Society, Inc. is seeking a positive, motivated and professional leader for the position of Shelter Manager. This position is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the shelter, ensuring the organization’s mission and policies are being met and maintaining good relations with the community, volunteers and employees. This diversified position requires strong organizational leadership, communication skills, excellent public relation skills, and prior experience with non-profit boards, budget development and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 yrs. in an animal shelter setting as well as supervisory experience and some animal law knowledge. BA preferred. Bi-lingual a plus.
